AN HQ-180 RESTORED

This used Hammarlund HQ-180 is an early version with serial number 272, manufactured at the Mars Hill, NC plant and later modified by previous owner. An RCA phono plug for 60KHz IF output was added. See photo.

This particular receiver is in Very Good condition. It has been cleaned repaired, and completely realigned to factory specifications. The finish on the cabinet and all of the front panel, except the meter and dial framework, is original.

Not all HQ-180's are as well performing as this one. It has excellent sensitivity and selectivity. The main tuning knob has that famous "silk like" feel to it.
